The National LGBTQ Task Force Gala is the premier annual celebration of South Florida’s LGBTQ+ community. The Gala is a night for LGBTQ+ people and their supporters to unite as a community, honor our heroes, and support the work of advancing equality for all LGBTQ+ people and their families. The event is produced by the National LGBTQ Task Force.
Founded in 1973, the National LGBTQ Task Force advances full freedom, justice, and equality for LGBTQ+ people and their families. In addition to funding the work of the Task Force, the Gala also benefits numerous organizations serving the South Florida LGBTQ+ community.
We invite you to enjoy this recap of last year’s event:
The mission of the National LGBTQ Task Force Gala is to increase awareness of and raise money to support the work of the National LGBTQ Task Force. For almost 50 years the Task Force has worked to advance freedom, justice, and equality for all LGBTQ+ people and their families. In addition to fueling the Task Force’s initiatives, a significant portion of funds raised at the Gala are donated back to local organizations serving the South Florida LGBTQ+ community. The gala is also the premier celebration for the South Florida LGBTQ+ community and a forum for honoring local and national leaders to the movement.
